Only one base book
One more problem with CA students which I feel is that they never stick to one book. They kept on searching new books, notes etc. and waste their precious time. Infact they should keep only institutes material for reference if you face any doubt.

According to me:-
“Reading one book 5 times is much better than reading 5 books one time”
More you read, more you will get confused. So, concentrate on quality not on quantity.  you can add good things in other book to your base book by writing. Being a lazy guy I used to cut papers from other books n stick them in my base book. This is also an art how to create your own base book. I used to cut pages from my practice manual and stick them to my base book which makes it more worthy than ever. You can do this thing when you are reading it for first time .So, while doing revision you can save your most precious time.

Always try to incorporate practice manual into your base book like writing questions in your base books infront of the related content. So that next you revise your subject you need not to open more than one book.

Never waste your time in reading illogical books . Many teachers suggest you to read foreign writers books but trust me it will be the waste of your time.

Also many students search for quick revision notes near their exams. Instead students should make thier notes them self which will be easy to remember n understand. so never go for new content just near your exams it will surely ruin your grip on subject. Trust me I  had faced the same problems. Just follow ammendments notes if any
