You should note that CA Final registration is not automatic, i.e. you will not be automatically registered for CA Final if you have cleared IPCC. So, you will have to apply for CA Final registration. CA Final Registration Fees *
Here is CA Final registration fees structure is given.
- If you have cleared CA IPCC:- (IPCC Route), then CA Final registration fee will be Rs. 10,000 + Rs. 2000 towards articleship registration fee (if not paid earlier)
- For conversion from CA Final old course to new course you will have to pay Rs 1100 towards new study material.
The Fee shall be payable by pay of a Demand Draft /Pay Order made in favour of “The Secretary, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India” payable at New Delhi/Mumbai/Chennai/Kolkatta/Kanpur in accordance with the registered address of the Student.
Documents to be enclosed with CA Final Registration Form
With CA Final registration form, you will have to enclose following documents.
- Copy of CA IPCC Marksheet attested by a CA
- Demand Draft/Pay Order for CA Final Registration Fees
CA Final Syllabus
CA Final syllabus and subjects are given below. In bracket the marks and bifurcation is also given for each subjects.
Group I
Paper 1: Financial Reporting (100 Marks)
Paper 2: Strategic Financial Management (100 Marks)
Paper 3: Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics (100 Marks)
Paper 4: Corporate and Allied Laws (100 Marks)
- Section A: Company Law (70 Marks)
- Section B: Allied Laws (30 Marks)
Group II
Paper 5: Advanced Management Accounting (100 Marks)
Paper 6: Information Systems Control and Audit (100 Marks)
Paper 7: Direct Tax Laws (100 Marks)
Paper 8: Indirect Tax Laws (100 Marks)
- Section A: Central Excise (40 Marks)
- Section B: Service Tax & VAT (40 Marks)
- Section C: Customs (20 Marks)
About Last Date for CA Final Registration
No specific date for saying to be last date for CA Final registration but you should be registered on or before to apply your examination form. I.e you should be CA final registered holder as on date of applying to exams.
In general mean, for IPCC, if you cleared both group in May 2013 then your Final attempt will come in May 2016. As 2.5 years articleship has to be finished before applying for CA Final examination.
In case you completed both groups of IPCC and now has to starting your articleship i.e registering to articleship now in such case with out registering to CA Final the ICAI doesn’t register you articleship. In my friend case he qualified both groups of IPCC at a time in single attempt and send the form 102 & 103 to articleship registrationwith out registering to CA Final after 3 months he received a letter from ICAI you completed both groups of IPCC so should be register for CA Final also. After sending of Final Registration form then ICAI registered him for articleship and CA Final however articleship commencement date registered as the date prescribed in form 103.
